Unit-6
Circular Motion
Introduction
The circular motion is an accelerated motion. If either the speed or the direction of the speed or Beth is changing, the body is said to have acceleration. Thus a body moving in a circle has celeration due to the change in direction of its velocity but not due to the change in the magnitude of the velocity. The motion of a body in a circular path with constant speed but variable cceleration is called uniform circular motion. It is possible only in the horizontal plane under ity In the circular motion, speed, angular speed, kinetic energy, angular momentum, and distance of the particle from the center each remain constant.
